About Us

Folk Alchemy candle co. is a small artisan candle atelier and test house located on the mysterious islands of Haida Gwaii in northern B.C. This location is where owner and operator Taaskiingungjaats (Lesley Assu) is able to draw her inspiration for all of her many creations, while being surrounded by the ancient forests, expansive coastline, flora and fauna of her ancestors.
